whats the best way to loosen the caliper mounting bracket from the steering knuckle

I tried as hard as i could and the  bolts would not loosen...i felt defeated not being able to
make it budge.

are you using a wrench? I usually use a 3/8 or 1/2 impact. Or get a long handled ratchet and pull real hard. Lots of these bastards have loctite on them so they can be quite tough.
