I paid $19,495 to Empire Motors, Inc. They didn't tell me that they lost the title until last week. I called the Massachusetts DMV and Empire Motors Inc hasn't even applied for them. I have A LOT of conflicting text messages between the owner and I. He purchased the 2009 Tahoe with 69,000 from an individual sends me a copy of the lost title dated April 2018. I spoke to the Massachusetts DMV and found out they applied for another one in May 2018, but have not applied for one when I asked about the title 10/22/18. Asked George about it today and he said he applied for it through dealer and auction. I asked him why when he purchased it from an individual and it only takes 7 - 10 business days to get it. I asked him for the truth. NO RESPONSE!

Hello mefrost1960, each title transaction times varies. Duplicates are easier and quicker usually but depends on how busy the DMV is. Legally the dealership has 30 days from the purchase date to provide you with the title.
