Crossed Wired a replacement battery not specified for this vehicle, and the horn sounded. Now with the correct battery the vehicle will not start, the lights come on but we are not getting any ignition. Could it be the fuse is blown?
My guess is the !00amp Alt...or....10amp .Ignition fuse blew with the initial insult.....battery installation backwards. You will need a 12 volt test light and or...a Digital Volt/Ohm meter to properly diagnose this issue. Both these tools are available at Wal-Mart...and they are inexpensive. The fuses in question are located under the hood...on the Left(driver side). Fuse designation and ID is located under the cover of the Fuse/Relay Box. Welcome to the world of Auto Mechanics and Good Luck .BTW...... There are some decent Videos on the internet describing the diagnostic procedure. Get back to us with result.
