Looking to buy 2007 Camry LE, only 13,010 miles, $14,999 - not at Toyota dealership so no warranty, just the 12,000 mile or 12 month piece. I can buy extended bumper to bumper up to 100,000-should I?

Most concerned about  maintenance in the future-never had Toyota, kinda boring.  Really want this 2003 Mercedes C320 4-matic-LOVE IT!  98,600 miles for $12,900.   Worried too about maintenance costs and the what if factor?  (I have had Lexus RX300, 2000 now at $208,000 - MIL light on, thinking it is time "all good things come to an end"?  What do you think of these scenarios=-thoughts.    So undecided:

a) fix my RX300 (Lexus computer says catalic converter needs replacing for starts)
b) get the Camry - hoping gas and maintenance will be worth the "bore" factor and I will save money
c) buy my dream car but the mileage freaks me out some, what are estimated acerage annual expenses on a car with that much mileage and age?

Thanks a bunch, so apprecaite it.  Trying to solidify a deal for the weekend.

Hey, in my opinion you should get the camry if you are worried about reliability and maintenance costs. The camry might be kind of boring, but it is a great everyday car. I drive a Lexus, but would get a camry if I could find one with the right mileage and in good condition. The Mercedes might be nice and fun to drive, but the look ages fast, not as reliable and its going to be expensive to maintain. My uncle owned two mercedes and got rid of them because the maintenance costs were so high. In the end I feel that you should buy what you feel like buying, but make a pro/con list and figure out which car best fits your needs.
