I DON'T THINK ANY DAMAGE WILL HAPPEN EXCEPT A DASH READOUT THAT SOMETHING IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY COULD APPEAR. NEVER HEARD OF THIS SITUATION BEFORE. WITH NO MAG RIDE IT SHOULD BE OK...

Without the sensor, the ABS system will not act as designed. Shocks initially are used to absorbed the bumps the tires/wheels generate. The sensor tells the ABS system the amount of movement the shocks have when breaking.
