if u jump it does it work? u might have a draw on the battery causing it to die over night, i had the same problem on my trans am after i bought a brand new battery....i took it to a shop to get the system tested (like $150 maybe less) they said two things...one i had a draw somewhere, but with my aftermarket wiring they couldnt fix it without just unplugging wherever the draw was coming from, so now i have no dome light and the button to pop open the trunk doesnt work....and number two, my batter didnt have good enough cold cranking amps....if this is the same battery its always had, with no problems, then i'd check if the cables r loose at all (the smallest play can affect it regularly) and give the terminals a good cleaning

If you have a flat spot on the starter after 47K miles, was the car made pre-WWII? Clean all contacts, and use a jumper start to get more juice to the starter. The solenoid also may be an issue you need to look at. Pull the starter and take it to a shop to have it checked out.
