when i iam on the hiway and gie it gas it pinngs and the check light comes on and stays on till i rea start it and its off any boady have this problem?

The ping you hear is pre-ignition. The fuel is igniting before the cylinder is @ TDC. This typically comes down to a timing or vacuum advance issue. Even though the light goes out, the code is stored in the ECM. Have the code read and go from there. Might be a manifold air pressure or throttle position sensor that is causing the issue.
