Don't know if it makes a difference, but the day that I noticed the lights weren't working, I took a turn into my shops driveway, hit a bump, and heard a metallic thunk in the front driverside wheelwell area.

dont know what your problem is without seing truck but theres nothing in your fender well aria that can affect both lights , on the off chance, the weather is chainging and thats when halogen balbs usually crap take tham out and check them make sure the springs between the prongs isent broken (inside balb). allso be sure to wipe balbs off any place you touch them or they will burn out!other wise you have a short in elec.sys and will have to chase it down.
