I have a 1995 chevy Silverado c1500(5.7) and I have this problem that every time I go up
hill or pass 45mph my truck will backfire and turn off......like if it losses power and make
loud backfires and it would lose all the power then it will turn off after that! HELP
PLEASE!!!!!!

Sounds like ignition timing. Either it's timed off, or something is preventing the timing from advancing at the higher RPMs.

I'm with ignition timing as well. Worst case is the chain jumped a tooth. Best case is someone mixed up a plug wire or 2

I have a 1983 Chevrolet Silverado. was driving n all of a sudden it backfire n acted like it was out of gas,then it shut off. When trying to start it again wouldn't turn over. like it wasn't getting gas!
