1995 chevy k1500  have no power at the wipers, heater and
4wd . And brake lights come on with ignition switch on. I  
hard wired heater fan to battery with a toggle switch on the
ground. When I turn on then they all work. Wheres the
short? I've traced it to under dash somewhere. Wiper
ground is live. Where is the ground for wipers?

you can ground out the wipers on the negative connection on the battery but if that doesn't work then you will probably need to rewire everything.
