96 chevy misfiring when stabilizing speed at 40 mph or above

why is my truck misfiring at 40mph or
more? but i can only feel it when I stay at 40
mph or whatever the speed.

Just may need a tune up. Plugs, wires, cap & rotor, fuel filter, air filter.

Sure it is not transmission chuggle? Is it an automatic? If so you may have a TCC lock up issue. If there is a misfire it will usually happen any time under load. Check transmission fluid and flush if dirty.
