Okay so when I try staying at a steady speed
above 60mph for example 60mph my truck starts
making a popping sound on my exhaust

Could be a number of things. Possible timing problem, bad exhaust valve, running too rich, etc. Need to do some basic troubleshooting. Check the timing, spark plugs and a compression test would be a good start.
