Chevy rear end

Will my gear ratio line up ok if I take my 3.73 rear
end out and put a 3.24 in????? Please help.

I don't understand why you bring up drive line lenght. Dose that vary as well. And I know if the ratio is not right it will mess up 4×4. But thanks for your time.
