Question type: Car Customization

I got a 1997 Chevy C1500 with a stock 5.0 and wanting to
put in a cam. What would be a good cam and would it
work good with my stock engine?

Well no matter what cam you chose if the amount of lift is greater than the original cam you should replace the valve springs because they can break and let a piston hit a valve , Been there & Done that
