Can i put my 97 5.7 in my 66 chevy steppside

Yes, one could do this, you would just need to figure out how you would want to hook everything up. Say an old school hook-up you would have to get a different intake manifold for the carburetor, and a HEI distributor. Or you could put all the electronics in with the engine, and would need to revamp the fuel system for the 5.7L Vortec engine.
