Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have changed the head lights and installed clear Euro style head lights and then installed 9006 blue bulbs and they work some what ok but the 9005 bulbs do not give enough light nor get out there far enough to see . The high beams 9005 are crappy even with Euro style lights and new bulbs . old lights where yellow with age so replaced all . Tried Sylvania 60W bulbs and still not good. Has any one tried the PIAA 9005 120W bulbs / 60W-120W 12 volt , they are rated 60 watt but put out 120 W

some where in that circuit their is too much resistance. it might be in the relay coil for the head light, or just some corrosion in the wires from the relay to the hheadlighs itself
