1995 Silverado K2500 drivers seat motor replacement Lift/tilt

1995 K2500 power seat tilt/lift DS. Motor ,
worm drive is counterclockwise wise . I can’t
seem to find this replacement anywhere. What
are my options , can it be replaced with
clockwise worm gear. Or has anyone else ran
into this? This can’t be the only truck in
America with this problem.

Most of these small motors are reversible. This may sound dumb but try hooking up the wires backwards. See if the motor will spin the way you need it to. Hope that helps! Jim

It’s not the direction the motor turns it’s the worm gear out of motor . It has counterclockwise threads , all other ones I have found have a clockwise threads . So the yoke that rides up and down the worm gear have the same threads.
