Does a 1995 5.7 fit in a 1998 truck

I have a wrecked 1995 5.7 motor good will it fit in my 1998 same motor
but 1998 is blown

Yes it will fit but not necessarily will run. The 95' runs off of a OBD1 computer, and the 98' runs off of a OBDII computer. The 98' is a Vortec engine, and the 95' is a TBI set-up. If you took the engine and transmission out of the 95' you would need the OBD1 and wiring harness to make it run.
