what is the last year without a sensor on catalytic converter for chevy 3/4 and 1 ton trucks?

no i mean the sensor being on or near catalytic converter, I have a 1996 Chevy g30 van and there is no sensor on or near converter, wanted a slimier set up in a truck body.
