Asked by Alvin Aug 09, 2014 at 09:24 AM about the 1998 Buick Riviera Supercharged Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On both my 95 & 98 Riviera's the A/C doesn't cool while idling. And it takes several miles before either cool down. What suggestions could you provide. Thanks in advance.

Have you checked your radiator fans for proper operation?

I found the problem. It was the orifice tube. I had to change that part after previously putting in one just 3 months earlier. I was surprised it had clogged up so soon . Thanks...
