Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 97 park avenue and only the drivers
window goes down, but all the other do not. I
already checked the fuse and it is good.

On the main drivers side window switch panel is a switch or button that you can engage that will let you lock out all the windows expect for the drivers side window. It might say window lock make sure this switch or button is not engaged.

If that is the case that switch or button is bad or it has a bad connection going to it. Remove window panel from door panel and check the connection going to the window lock switch. Try and wiggle and giggle the wire connector going to switch while it is in the unlocked position and try one of the window switches to see if it starts to work. If not you will need a test light to check for power going to and from switch. My guess is the lock switch is bad.
