1996 Park Avenue, died , power windows and seat won't work,

Asked by Mike Mar 12, 2019 at 12:07 PM about the 1996 Buick Park Avenue FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1996 Buick Park Avenue, died while settting the drivers seat.
Now it will only turn over and not start, power windows and
seat won't work. Had a very similar thing happen on a 99 Olds
88. Could it be the ground buss connection?

Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good. If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse. Any applicable trouble codes? Everything may be related, but, at the moment, I'm more concerned with getting the vehicle running. I can only help with testing. Just my opinion.
