will a 3.8 reg out of a 1991 buick park ave work in a 1996 chev camaro ?

i have a 1996 chev camaro that has a 3.8l v6 auto in it that blew  i also have a 1991 buick park ave 3.8 non super charged  auto , im wondering if  i can swap it into the camaro n make it run ect  if i can will i run into any problems or can you suggest what i may run into any help will be greatly appreciated

ur gonna run into different flywheel and torque converter issues also those motors may be same block but have totally different heads and computers that run them and security issues in the ignition system... so youll have to take ur heads off and throw them on the other 3.8 and run all ur original wiring and intake etc.. it can be done if the bell housings on tranny are same..

The heads are the same, not sure about flexplate and torque converter but it’s a simple swap, you just need to use your f body oil pan, accessories, intake manifold, and engine mounts. I motor swapped my camaro with another 3800 out of a regal and that’s how I did it
