2003 Buick Lesabre, No trunk tail lights when truck is closed. Truck tail lights up when
truck is opened. All other lights work.

What I mean by tail light is running lights, Backup lights and plate lights. When the trunk is open these lights come on. If I close the trunk these lights go off and stay off even at night. When I unlock the doors with the remote these lights come on faintly with the trunk closed.

Found a broken wire where the harnesses meet. Sliced and taped up and voila it works. Thanks everyone for your input.
