No antifreeze going through heater core

Asked by GuruBMXJL Jan 22, 2019 at 02:05 PM about the 2002 Buick LeSabre Custom Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It was -30c and the heat was working I stopped at a store shut it off and when
I came out and drove away it was just blowing cold air and is still only cold.
The actuator is working but I checked the heater hoses and the in one is
warm but the return is cold. I am now going to check the antifreeze level but I
am wondering if there is a water valve somewhere I can not see one on the
outside.

I forgot to mention .....top rad hose is hot ....temp gauge running normal......did not touch heater controls when got back in the car.....no visible leaks.
