My Buick LeSabre 2001 just shut off on me while I was driving. It started up couple hrs later got it home and it shut right back off like it wasn't getting any gas

I had the same problem The mechanic said it could be a number of things. One, as GuruCP46W said, the fuel pump. In my case it was the crank sensor.
