My car just shut off on me while I was letting it warm up. Lights are fine and radio is working. I have been having problems getting it to start up lately,I usually have to turn the wheel a few times.

need more information is it turning over are any light on on the dash

It's trying to come on now but last night it was making a click noise when I turned the key. Today it tried to crank all the way but turned off again. All lights on the dash work.

I ment check engine lights and such

My engine light stays on because of my gas cap.

Other lights don't stay on

it sounds like your battery does it work when you jump it

Haven't tried my battery bc i just bought a new one a year ago. Could it be that even though all my lights are working fine?

have you checked the alternator output it should be over 14 volts

I'M getting someone to come do it don't have tools to do so. Can i do it without tools? I did fail to mention I noticed it would start making loud sounds when I got up in speed two days ago. And my heat and air stop working.
