Driver window

Asked by Elizabeth Apr 06, 2018 at 06:02 PM about the 1999 Buick LeSabre Limited Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

All the windows quite first. Replaced a fuse and
they all work but the driver side. It will go down but
not up. What do I do to fix it

It takes a lot more power to raise a window than to lower it so more than likely that's what blew the fuse to begin with. Your regulator (motor or linkage) is probably worn out. Consider the fact that the drivers window gets at least 3x more use than the other windows, It's not an expensive job if you do it yourself ... probably less than $75 .. and I usually don't recommend that unless the age of the car and the cost to fix it is not acceptical. Go on Youtube for instructions on how to fix it yourself Good Luck
