I have a perfect engine for my 99 but I totaled her. I'm getting a 2002. I would
like to swap the engine and tranny. Are they the same?

Yes and no... Will it fit. Yes. Same sensors and connectors. No
Will a 2000 /3800 fit in a 2002

As long as it has the same vin label. The cars should have the 3800 series 2 in them. Motor is almost bullet proof.
