I have a 97 Buick lesabre I have recently replaced the transmission twice in it due to it not shifting in to overdrive. My speedometer or any of my gages arent working. I seriously need advice

That's a lot of hassle for an old buick- why? My advice- get rid of it- and buy a Harley- but, that's just me-

If the speedometer cable is not connected to the transmission it will not go into overdrive. It should not until 45 mph or above. Check the lines to make sure they are connected. Speed sensor could be bad..
