I just want to say THANK YOU to Delma for even asking this question. I locked my 86 year old Mom's wheelchair in the trunk and can't find my keys. I googled, "How to open trunk on 2003 Buick" and in your question, you spoke of a button in the glove box. I never knew of that button. Pressed it, and BOOM, Mom has her wheelchair. God Bless You!

If you didn't get a key with the car or don't care you can pop the back lock in second with a hammer and large flathead screwdriver
