Where can I find the Vin # on the motor itself?

The VIN is for the car, not on the engine. Your car title will have the VIN on it.

There isn't a VIN on the motor. You have various casting/date numbers, pertaining to when/where parts were made, along with numbers identifying the type of block/heads.
