Cluster and radio went out!

So I have a 99 Buick century and I installed a new
radio in a few days ago. For about an hour it
worked perfectly fine and then all of a sudden the
radio shut off and the cluster have stopped
working! Note-my gear indicater lights (PRF123)
lights were dim before instal after instal they were
bright and very visible and now cluster and radio
are off please help!

did you solder the connections ? I think you;ll need a computer interface along with the prong adapters , the days of red wire black wire are gone the computer runs everything , see a pro car stereo shop for help and bring your wallet

No I didn't solder anything all I did was connect th3 stereo to the corresponding colors as you would any other radio and it worked and I didn't even touch anything closely related to the cluster and about an hour later both stopped

Yea I checked the fuses but they weren't burnt or anything so someone had suggested that the radio and the cluster are on the same circuit and so it has a short or something
