Turn signals, wipers, and headlights all stop working....

Asked by ajacisin Mar 13, 2016 at 07:54 PM about the 2005 Chrysler Town & Country Limited LWB FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Driving down the road and without an issue to speak of.  Anything controlled by a switch on the steering column stops working, until I move the tilt up or down.  What can I do to  remedy this? Would a new blinker switch help or is there a short in the column when it moves it just catches a signal? I am lost and really could use some help.

Has to be in the wiring harness,or the connection to the switch.

Today it had a new trick for me, I would turn the left turn signal and the right side would flash then it would not work at all but when I move the wheel up and then back down it all works just fine.

Check the harness and connection to the stalk switch,if they look ok,you may need to replace the switch.

Our front turn signal wire appears to to be cut. We're trying to find a new harness. Anyone know if another model's would fit. Hard to find junk yard with the 2014
