check for spark , do you hear the faint noise of the fuel pump priming the system when you hit the key ?? scan for codes even if the light ain't on

Try spraying some quick start in the throttle body and see if it runs for a bit. This will determine if it's fuel related

Make sure fuel pump is priming, make sure spark plugs are sparking, check air flow. I had similar issue with a dodge ram.... turned out it was the ignition coil. Check that too. Good luck.
