How do I fix my gas gauge?

Asked by Katelynnj Apr 17, 2020 at 10:56 AM about the 2005 Chrysler Town & Country LX LWB FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It stops reading once it hits a half tank

You probably need a new fuel pump/fuel level sensor. On a car that old I would probably learn to live with it as the cost will probably be around a grand. If it reads accurately when the level is less than half a tank you won't run out of gas.
