why wont my Chrysler minivan shift

my RPM's read over 3000 car will not
shift out of first gear

Low transmission fluid,or could be a sensor,but more than likely it is the tranny may be bad.

T_S_T is correct. Chrysler is famous for bad transmissions in their vans. I hope it's just low on fluid. If it is then look for a leak.

It’s a computer glitch. I have the same problem. Shut van off and wait a minute then restart and that works for me.
