2003 chrysler town and country - oil light

2003 chrysler town and country 50k miles.. the oil light came on in the dashboard.  The car has only run 1,000 miles since last oil change...any thoughts? Thank You.

It is possible that the light was not correctly reset after the oil change. Otherwise it may be a warning that there is a issue with the oil system.

A flickering oil light at idle is usually indicative of an impending oil pump failure or a compromised oil pressure sw. Test oil pressure cold..150-200psi hot no less than 60 psi
