2002 town n country having trouble with high gears

I have a Chrysler town and country that is having
some trouble going in reverse  but most of my
problem is with high gears sometimes i have
problems going over 40 mph so i pull over and
restart vehicle and then it shifts properly .. can
anyone relate or does anyone have any answers to
my issues?!?

sounds like the transmission solenoid pack is giving you trouble. open hood look down on top of transmission pan is the solenoid pack remove the large connectors and check for corrosion to start.
