Spare tire will not lower. Cable does travel free but Spare tire will only move about 1 inc.

Unable to lower the spare tire on my 2002 Chrysler Town & Country. Cable does feed out
about 24 ". The Tire moves about 1" inch and appears to be hanging up on something.

Years ago I had a spare tire do the same thing, it was a tight fit while stored. I had to just let a small amount of air out of the spare so it would drop. I just hope your valve stem is facing down so you can get to it.
