W van running turn on fan press and hold wipe and wash on heater controls the top two lights will flash back and forth the the heater will switch on its own for a couple cycles once its cycled and you hear no more switchin press top button and heater will work again. Programming the bcm is what you are doing if the a/c flashes its due to be charged

FYI to others: I didn't understand what TomMcManis said at first, but when i finally got it, my problem was solved. The button sequence I used was: Simultaneously push "Wipe" (top button)& "Wash" (bottom button) till the lights all start flashing (all together, then top two alternating). When the flashing is complete, push the "Wipe" (top button) again and everything was solved. You Da Man, Tom!!!
