Repair and maintenance

Asked by Tigel1981 Sep 11, 2018 at 11:20 AM about the 2006 Chrysler Sebring Touring Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1 Answer

I have a 2005 Sebring Sedan with just 39000 mile on it. The malfuncion Indicator light just came on yesterday. I know I need to have it checked but wanted to know what are the possible reasons for this? I purchased it new in 2005, and I have had a constant brake squealing problems with this car. I have had the brakes checked about twice a month since it was new. Result has always been between 25-45 percent of wear on the brakes. Still it continues to squeal, so badly that the people at Brake Masters had never had a car that was anywhere near the noise level my car exhibits. "Dubious honor", I have been blessed with. Suggestions? Better quality brakes installed? Thanks, Sharon
