Long block engine + labor about $2500 minimum. Probably more. But geez, a 2006, even in a Chrysler product seems awfully soon unless you have racked up 200,000 miles, and even that means highway cruising and that engine should have lasted longer. Much longer. Recommend a diagnostic, even a full $200 diagnostic with compression check, and all the information possible before laying out that kind of money.
