Depends on where you are hearing this noise, does it seem to come from the engine compartment? Does it happen when idling or when driving? Could be many different issues causing that type of noise.

I've noticed on my 2018 Pacifica LX that when I put the car in drive, there's a distinct rattle coming from the engine. It's only noticeable when idling at a stand-still, when it's in gear. Put it in park and the noise goes away. accelerate and the noise becomes undetectable. Any ideas ?

sorry... the heading above says, "Your Answer", but I have no answer. What I have is the EXACT same issue as described by GuruVBFBP. I took it to the dealer and they were VERY uncaring about it.
