what is the fair estimate for parts ad labor for the catalytic converted for mitsubishi outlander 2007

Service engine light appeared and  took the car to the mechanic.Said that the catalytic
converter needs to be replaced.The car has 120k miles.

Found low of $602 and a high of $1,100. Both are 1.1 hr labor and difference is in cost of cat, from about $550 to $990
