07 eclipse gs wont start unless i tap on gas pedal

Hello my 07 eclipse gs wont start unless i tap on the gas pedal and rev it a few times
then its fine. If i don't tap on the gas pedal it starts and stalls out quick. Please help no
one knows whats wrong with it. New plugs, new battery, oil change all done 3000 miles
ago its now  at 118k thanks.

i believe it all started when an engine power wash was done buts its been a year and a
half now.

Check air filter and clean throttle body and replace fuel filter if have not done so in a while and add fuel injector cleaner to gas tank.

We agree with firebird338 that the throttle body is most likely the cause of the problem however it may also be the fuel pump & fuel filter.
