92 s10 4.3l misfireing

What could cause a 92 S10 4.3 litre to
misfire and ccalls water to mix with the oil in
the engine block?

rotted head gasket/s most of the time the head gaskets will cause over heating but with no oil water coolant in oil...heads are some what durable as to cracking but best to spend 45 bucks to pressure test them at machine shop...
