Supplying to much fuel and it won’t start 2.5 liter S10

Engine is getting to much fuel at start up and
it won’t start. Press fuel pedal all the way
down then it starts

I'd suspect a bad fuel pressure regulator or leaking fuel injectors. Hope that helps! Jim

Once engine gets going it runs normal at idle We will try the fuel pressure regulator
