Squeaking from front end

Asked by EDodge1999 Aug 16, 2017 at 07:36 AM about the 2007 Chevrolet Aveo 5 LS Hatchback FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can't quite locate where this squeak is
coming from. I've replaced both control
arms, tie rods, stabilizer links, new pads
and rotors. Still can't figure out where the
squeak is coming from. You hear it
whenever there is a bump.

^ Or even a spring. Enlist some help in bouncing car up and down while you get your ear in the general vicinity of the squeak and listen to where it's coming from. Mechanic's stethoscope can aid in zeroing in on noises, or use a hollow tube like a PVC pipe against your ear.
