Hi
The noise (low rumble) sounds from the exhaust system and the oily
burning smell is noticeable inside the cabin when the Honda is running.
The exhaust system is intact and I didn't see any leaks.
The transmission was recently serviced and Honda also did an oil  change  
before this happened.
